Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.19 i686; en-US; rv:0.9+) Gecko/20010517 BuildID: 0 When printing a page with transparent gifs the page prints when the gifs are printed with a black background, effectively the whole gif is completely black (the page is black on white). (this was grayscale printing). In Color printing the colored stuff prints ok but the background is still black. Same page prints ok in IE (though on a different printer and on windows as opposed to Linux). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Print page Actual Results: Gifs are printed black on black Expected Results: The background should be omitted as it is transparent. The page in question is password protected, if needed I can copy the page (it is not secret in any way). This is all with a CVS snapshot of mozilla from yesterday 18 May 2001.
Dupe of bug 77914?
Whiteboard: DUPEME
It doesn't appear so, bug 77914 seems to talk about screen drawing, here the problem is when printing to paper, it also shows in the postscript output when printing to file. It may be caused by the same reason.
