Now that there's a transition when going into the awesome screen (url bar grows, content area cross-fades), it feels very abrupt when you press back to return to the page and it immediately switches with no transition. I can understand that picking a web-page should illicit an immediate reaction, and when you do, this feels ok - but when you press back to cancel the operation, it feels weird for it to not cross-fade in that situation. In my opinion, at least. Thoughts?

I agree, it would be nice to try matching the same fade we use in the content area when changing from website --> awesomescreen.
