Loading the "Image manager" windows from the preference window or from the tasks
menu is extremely slow, and the browser seems to be completely frozen while it
loads. It just seems really hard to populate the lists or something... I dont
think the is linux specific... It may be linked to bug 49141 "New window
performance".

I see this on on win2k build 20010725. I often try to press the menuitem again
since it's really is soooo slow.

Could it simply be that you have too many image sites in the list?

he, he.. kind of not. It's empty...
The the second I press the menuitem until the Image Manager is shown is 6 secs

This problem will go away when the patch in bug 98575 is checked in.
