We found that the memcache pool does not play well when the membase server is restarted.

I am working to integrate a "ReconnectClient" in umemcache

And in the meantime I added it in our pool - https://github.com/mozilla/django-memcached-pool/blob/master/memcachepool/client.py

It needs this pull request to be added to umemcache: https://github.com/esnme/ultramemcache/pull/21
