RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 819899

People

(Reporter: d.kampinga, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0
Build ID: 20121128204232

Steps to reproduce:

I use the small memory-resident application PureText (http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/) in Windows 7 and Windows XP to copy and paste text into a web based CMS. By using shortcut key Windows key + V key one can paste unformatted text in the CMS. Since FF 17.0.1 this is no longer possible.

Actual results:

I can hear the sound by PureText that says that the text is unformatted pasted in the field in the CMS, but the text is not pasted.

I found out that this behaviour is found in all browser based applications where one wants to paste unformatted text by using the Windows key + V-key. It looks to me the Windows key is not integrated in Firefox 17.0.1 (mind you: FF 16.x dit work correctly)

Expected results:

Normally, when you hear the sound of the PureText application, the text is pasted in the field in the CMS.
