820107 - Search suggestions animation glitchy for custom search engines

Though bug 815937 fixed this for the built-in Google search engine, we'll probably still see this bug for any custom search engines that have support suggestions. Unfortunately, we won't be able to use a simple fix like the one in bug 815937 since we can have an arbitrary number of search engines.
