From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 (Macintosh; U; PPC) BuildID: 2001052112 Cannot quit Netscape 6.1, had to hard-reset the computer. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch client into browser window. 2. Visit bugzilla. 3. View Today's Bugs. 4. Close window using close box in upper left corner. Actual Results: 5. Can't get new browser window using command keys, menus or by any other method. 6. Can't get Mailbox window either. Am left with main menu. 7. Use Force Quit to exit. 8. Have to use Force Quit twice. 9. Can't then relaunch either Netscape 6.1 or Communicator. 10. Had to hard-reset the computer. Expected Results: Should have Quit gracefully.

Problem also happened on today's build #2001052115 When I close the main browser window, all menus respond to mouse events, but no menu selections trigger an application response. I couldn't quit. I had to Force Quit. Captured MacsBug data that resulted from the Force Quit. Attached MacBug dump.
I see this also on Mac 2001-05-22-09trunk When you close the browser, leaving just the menus (file, edit etc..), you can't get any menu items to work (i.e., I can't even relaunch the browser!) I tried this with a new profile and registry files (clean install) with same results. Nominating nsbeta1
