Details

Trying to add a news server account for 'support-forums.novell.com' on the Server Information dialog, the wizard says 'please enter a valid hostname'. The host name is valid (I have it in my NS4.7 list). I can ping it, etc.

We had a bug just last week where we couldn't add an account (mail or news) because it would error on any hostname. I think this is fixed, nbaca will know the bug number.
