User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:20.0) Gecko/20121213 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20121213112332
Steps to reproduce:
1) I've a lo-dpi screen and a hi-dpi screen. I moved the firefox window to lo-dpi screen.
2) I maximized the firefox window
3) I closed firefox with CMD+Q
4) I started firefox again.
Actual results:
The render window is too small.
See attached screenshot.
But notice if the window is rerendered (e.g. after window resizing), all looks normal.
Expected results:
The render window should have its full size.
The build is a tryserver build from bug 820327 and is also occurs on latest nightly (2012-12-13).
Summary: [hidpi] if firefox is started on a lo-dpi screen with maximized window-size, the render window is too small → [hidpi] if firefox is started on a lo-dpi screen with maximized window-size, then the render window is too small

Bug 829963 may well be another example of the same problem.

This was fixed in bug 829963 - they were two ways to hit the same underlying issue.
