Details

as per bug 805404, we have hacked around this test case.  We need to figure out why this happens only on android 4 and the panda boards.

It's fixed iff we can back out the changes from bug 805404, right?
my bad, I viewed this as the bug to *hack* the testcase so we could pass, this should stay open.

Pandas are no more, so if someone pushes this backout to try and it works, then we can resolve!
