goto mail settings
click on Add Account
click on Hotmail Account
enter Login Information
click Next
succesfully added email notice appears

when the user goes into their Hotmail Account from email app button on homescreen
clicks on + icon
enters TO info
enters email info
clicks on send (upper right)

Sending email failed notice appears

i got a successful message when sending, but the email never got to my account.  Is there something broken?

STR: 
1) log into daily unagi build: 20121217070202
2) launch email, hotmail, and compose a new message (i sent one to my @mozilla and another to @gmail.com)
3) UI shows sending throbber, then quickly displays the blank Compose Message screen.
4) Verify in receiving inboxes, nothing came through from hotmail.

Expected:
- Email sent from hotmail arrives in other inboxes

ActuaL:
- no email has been sent.

Works for me. However, it took a few minutes to actually show up in my Gmail account. Presumably, Hotmail's SMTP server is a bit slow at the moment.

I'm going to WFM this too.  If you do reproduce, please make sure to describe how long you waited before giving up on the e-mail arriving, as mail delivery is subject to delays as squib describes.  Also, please be sure to indicate that spam folders were checked, etc.

Also, for logcat's it's fine/preferable to filter them through a "grep Gecko", so "adb logcat | grep Gecko".  This gets rid of the /dev/pmem spam but should get both GeckoDump and GeckoConsole.
