Steps to reproduce:
1. set media.windows-media-foundation.enabled = true
2. Open URL http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/Performance/FishBowl/
   -- observe performance/Browser UI responsiveness
3. Close the tab
   -- observe performance/Browser UI responsiveness

Actual results:
 0fps, content UI almost gets unresponsive 
 browser UI almost gets unresponsive

 After close the tab, browser UI gets unresponsive for several minutes.

Expected results:
 content UI and browser UI should be responsive

A second website with the same result/behavior.

Steps to reproduce:
1. set media.windows-media-foundation.enabled = true
2. open http://webvizbench.com/Default.htm?skipdetect
3. click on "continue"
4. click on the left side "display options"
5. enable "video background" (http://kexp.stimulant.io/Blobs/media/Video.mp4)

Actual results:
fps drops form 45 to 0
Video is only a slideshow (every x seconds a new frame)
browser UI almost gets unresponsive
After close the tab, browser UI gets unresponsive for several minutes

Expected results:
still 45fps and smooth video playback


Could it be something to do with resizing/stretching ?

For me it is fixed.
I have now about 2300 fishes with blue animated water and sound.

And the fps at webvizbench dropping only from 45 to 38.
