Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable debug paint flash
2. Click on nightly button - > History (or bookmarks) .
3. The library window opens.
4. Scroll in the right hand side part of the window.


Actual results:

Full page invalidation


Expected results:

minimal invalidation.

Confirmed using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20121227 Firefox/20.0 ID:20121227030822.

Also happening in Library's left Pane.

Another Example is the Bookmark Treelist given in Options > "General" Tab > "Use Bookmark...".

Seems some other Kinds of XUL Trees are affected, too.

I cannot repro this anymore with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 ID:20130810030206 CSet: c5946a8bcd5b.

i dont know how to check this now. Earlier, toggling the debug paint flash worked for all type of  windows/pages. Now the similar option in the web toolbar doesnt seem to work for the "Library page" .

ok. i tried with nglayout.debug.paint_flashing , and i still see full page invalidation in the library window.

to add, "bookmarks" and "history" have full page repaints every time i scroll.
But the "downloads" window doesnt repaints quite less.
