We need a new test to check the cookies modal dialog when in private browsing mode (that it does not appear) and also in normal mode (that it appears).

This is per comment #67 in bug 818456 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=818456#c67)

As of how the initial comment is written it's unclear for me what this test has to do. Please make sure to file new bugs with a clear summary and clear steps. What is the cookie modal dialog? We have a lot of different ones. Please be explicit what this test should check.

The test will need to verify the following:
1) Have the Accept cookies from sites option set in Firefox for ask me every time
2) Open New Private Window
3) Verify that the Confirm setting cookie dialog is not displayed
4) Open New Window
5) Verify that the Confirm setting cookie dialog is displayed
Updating summary accordingly to to the test specifications. Does it mean that we don't have any already existent Mochitests for those tests? If not why can't this be implemented as a mochitest?
Priority: -- → P3
Summary: Add new test for the cookies modal dialog in PB and normal mode → Test which checks that the accept cookie dialog is not displayed in private browsing mode
Based on the email thread the existing mochitest needs to be updated with the steps in comment #2
Logged bug 826311 for extending the existing mochitest.
Thanks. Closing this bug in favor of the Mochitest.
