Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:20.0) Gecko/20121227 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20121227030822 If the video is in full screen and Abobe Flash Player option is selected from the context menu, the video image freezes but the sound keeps on going. This behavior is inconsistent considering that both the sound and the image are paused when selecting other options like 'Report Playback Issue' or 'Take Speed Test'. Reproducible: always Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox and navigate to YouTube 2. Play any video that uses Flash 3. In the controls bar, click on the Full Screen button 4. While in Full Screen, right click on the video and from the context menu select 'About Flash Player 11.5.502' Expected results: After selecting the context menu item 'About Flash Player 11.5.502', both the video and the sound are paused. Actual results: After selecting the context menu item 'About Flash Player 11.5.502' - the video image and the progress bar freeze but the sound keeps on going. Note: This issue is reproducible on: * Firefox 17.0.1, Firefox 18 beta 6 and on the latest Aurora and Nightly. * Adobe Flash: 11.5.502.110, 11.5.502.136, 11.4.402.287. The issue is not reproducible on Windows or on Ubuntu.

Similar functionality like "Take Speed Test" (which is also navigates to some page in a new tab) works fine, so i assume this to be a Flash issue. Note that * the behaviour in Safari is similar (pauses sound & video for "Take Speed Test", doesn't pause audio or video for "About Flash Player") * Flash never closes the fullscreen window for me for the mentioned context menu actions (OSX 10.8, Flash 11.5.502.136)

Duping this to 827042. That bug has a regression range and a little more information.

This is a separate issue - it was introduced before Fx18 and is about specific context menu actions for fullscreen flash, not just having the context menu open.

I'm closing a lot of bugs which are filed as Adobe Flash bugs which are either irrelevant, not actionable, or not serious enough to track in the Mozilla bug tracker. For the most part, Flash bugs should be filed in Adobe bugbase, and we'll only track a few highly-critical issues in the Mozilla tracker.
