User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20121130221523 Steps to reproduce: I clicked "manage subscriptions", to add some feeds or remove some feeds which are broken and don't receive updates. Actual results: The dialog opens, but all the feeds directories are blank and I can't remove any of the existing feeds. Expected results: All the feeds should be listed and editable; I should be able to remove broken feeds so that "download new messages" for feeds manages to update feeds again.

Oh, sorry, I now see that the error console is full with lines like this: Data e ora: 10/01/2013 16:19:15 Errore: [Exception... Can you try Tb safe mode? Help->restart with addons disabled.
(In reply to :aceman from comment #3) > Can you try Tb safe mode? Help->restart with addons disabled. Doesn't help. When trying to get updates from the feeds it fails and among many iterations of the error in comment 2 there's also: Timestamp: 11/01/2013 18:00:38 Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80550007 [nsIMsgFolder.getStringProperty]" nsresult: "0x80550007 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger-newsblog/content/utils.js :: getFeedUrlsInFolder :: line 335" data: no] Timestamp: 11/01/2013 18:01:15 Error: [Exception... Are you really using TB 12?
(In reply to :aceman from comment #5) > Are you really using TB 12? Yes (forced by bug 794401).
Sorry about that. But you must somehow determine if the problem also exists in TB21. There were a lot of refinements since TB12 in the Feed reader module.

How can I import the feeds and just the feeds in another account, without copying the whole profile? I wasn't able to understand what's the role of the different files in this area. Maybe I can test TB21 on another user, but I still won't be able to use it.
I hope alta88 will help you how to copy just the RSS account to a new profile/OS user.

as aceman said, there are too many changes in feeds, including fixes for this specific symptom, to consider anything older than Tb17. try the suggestion in bug 794401. otherwise, run the existing profile temporarily under Tb17 and bring up the subscribe dialog, it will try to autorepair the feeds db.

This was actually fixed by your suggestion to repair the directories, in bug 794401 comment 35. Thanks!
