Sure! I might be passing this off to sancus so I can focus on Flicks itself.

One question, are you asking to add new fields to basket or just to add Flicks to the preference center? I'm not familiar enough with basket/ET internals to know if those are different things or not. :P

Re: your question - I'm not entirely sure.

This bug is to make sure that the FLICKS_FLG shows up in the Preference Center as "Firefox Flicks". I assume that these fields will need to be added to basket in order for basket to pull and display this information from their record in Exact Target.

There is another bug to integrate an email signup form as part of the Flicks submission that may or may not have already added these fields to basket: Bug 829278

Let me know if this helps or if you have further questions. Right now Bug 829278 doesn't look like it's assigned to anyone to work on.

Aha, I see. So dev tasks here:

1. Add Flicks to basket itself at https://github.com/mozilla/basket/blob/master/apps/news/newsletters.py#L10

   Use 'firefox-flicks': 'FLICKS' for this.

2. Add Flicks to the preference center in mozilla.org. Use FLICKS as the basket name.
