Details

CardView flickers noticeably when zooming out an app.
OS: Mac OS X → Gonk (Firefox OS)
Hardware: x86 → ARM

Yes, this is caused by hiding the actual iframe before we got the screenshot on the cards. We could wait for getScreenshot() to return, however we cannot know for sure when |background-image| actually paints. That's just a limitation of CSS that is very noticeable on slow phones.
