Steps to reproduce:

Accessed Bookmarks menu in Firefox 18.


Actual results:

The more tabs that open, the slower it becomes.   Takes up to five seconds for the menu to open, and a few seconds for menu items to open.  Doesn't happen in Safe Mode.   Disabling all addons does NOT help.  Disabling Hardware Acceleration helps, but then problems with menu fonts occur (font changes to tiny serif font).


Expected results:

Bookmark menu should open rapidly.
that looks like bug 820247 (disabling HWA makes it much faster)
