Steps to reproduce:
1.go into the FM and listen the radio;
2.go back to homescreen;
3.go into the settings-sound;
4.select a ringtone to listen;

Actual results:
1.FM radio is not stopped and the ringtone also play at the same time.

Expected results:
1. FM radio is stopped;
2. ringtone play normally

Any audio which doesn't be assigned the channel wouldn't interrupt the background music. The case here is because settings app doesn't set the channel to the ringtone preview.

I don't know if we need to do this(set channel to ringtone preview, it's not ringtone though.)

Per comment 2, this is working as expected in v1. Let's tracking it for v1.x

FM and ringtone are using 2 different channels and it's expected for now.

Hi, all,

Sorry for my jump in.
As I tested the same feature on android phone.
The android phone will interrupt the FM radio and play the ringtone. FYI.

By the way, this feature relates to user experience.
As I known, if user wants to change the ringtone while user is listening to the FM radio, 
user needs to turn off the FM radio then select the ringtone since the sound has mixed together.
So, if we want to have a friendly design, we could improve the feature.

This bug should already be fixed by patch of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=827281
It was uplifted to v1-train yesterday.

Closed as resolved dup, reopen if this still happens.
