I restarted my phone and lost the HERE Maps icon. I have a generic greyed out icon instead. When I click on it there's the download progress bar around the icon, and then a download fails message. adb relevant debug section: 01-24 09:04:27.304 E/GeckoConsole( 108): Content JS INFO at app://system.gaiamobile.org/js/app_install_manager.js:188 in ai_handleDownloadError: downloadError event, error code is INVALID_SIGNATURE 01-24 09:04:27.324 D/memalloc( 108): /dev/pmem: Allocated buffer base:0x4ad00000 size:122880 offset:1314816 fd:150 01-24 09:04:27.514 D/memalloc( 108): /dev/pmem: Allocated buffer base:0x4ad00000 size:122880 offset:1437696 fd:167 01-24 09:04:28.344 E/rmt_storage( 128): write_log_file: [MyTag]open: fd=-1 01-24 09:04:28.344 E/rmt_storage( 128): block rmt_storage client thread 01-24 09:04:30.774 I/IdleService( 108): next timeout 1000 msec from now 01-24 09:04:30.774 I/IdleService( 108): SetTimerExpiryIfBefore: next timeout 1000 msec from now
I *think* this is the same bug as bug 833587. Same symptom at least. We're basically getting stuck in a middle state right now on a bad update.

Jason, we should still fix the INVALID_SIGNATURE problem, right ?

(In reply to Julien Wajsberg [:julienw] from comment #2) > Jason, we should still fix the INVALID_SIGNATURE problem, right ? The invalid signature problem is a separate bug. It's the issue with the fact that the manifestURL is incorrect for the maps app.

oh if that bug already exists then I'm fine with that.
