Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Firefox on a tablet, with a non-private tab selected. 2. Open the tab sidebar. 3. Choose "New Private Tab" from the app menu (NOT the tab tray menu). Expected results: The tab bar switches to Private mode to show the new tab. Actual results: The tab bar remains in Tabs mode and does not show the new tab. This is reproducible in Aurora 20 and Nightly 21.
