This is the first attempt using Bill Walker's tests repo (with one change on SMS).
It will not install on your phone yet as it tries to call installPackage (with no .zip provided). Still fighting with installing it as a package ...
The page is virtually empty on Nightly for me. Is it supposed to trigger an install?

Just attached what I see in the nightly.
Chrome is displaying it empty with an error " Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'mgmt' in undefined "
We're not building an app
There will be only Marionette tests instead

That's umm...strange?

We've got a bunch of marionette tests already in the tree for some of these APIs. But I don't think they work on Android.

What framework are you intending to use marionette on? Gaia UI Tests? Emulator gecko automation?
The idea is to make it work on Android as well. I'm thinking of creating a webapp so we will be able to run the tests "inside" it. But I'm not really sure if that's entirely possible.

I also do not understand your question about the framework. Currently I've been working to provide a proof of concept examples. The code is here: https://github.com/zalun/KitchenSink-Tests
Maybe that answers it.
Let me start a thread on this over email with you and Fred with some of the ateam guys. That might clarify some things that I'm bringing up in connection to the concept you are presenting.
