Select from the address book a card with two email addresses and then click on new message. What happens: the message gets sent to the first email address in the card. What should happen: the user gets prompted with all the valid addresses in the card to select which one(s) to send email to.

in fact, it always uses the first address field, even if that field is empty (which might be a separate existing bug - i didn't search for one)
Summary: Card with two addresses should ask which one to use. → Card with multiple addresses should ask which one to use. Always uses first address field

Is there a way forward?
Also, I suspect there is another bug report on the same topic.

Also automatically use the secondary address if the primary address is empty.

It's both easier and more complicated than it looks.

Might as well take this to ESR 78. This code may not exist come the next ESR, and that would be a waste. :-)

Sorry I missed testing this in 83.0b2. Must have missed the bug in the list.

After teaching myself how to do this, it is working in my test of the 78.4.1 release candidate on
Windows 10.

Selected a contact configured with an additional email address in the contacts address book entry.
Clicked the "Write" icon in the Address Book Toolbar.
Had the selection of the two email addresses appear in a drop-down.
Selected the additional email address and the composition window opened.

Now how do I add my two Gmail addresses and my AOL address to that address book entry and have all five selections.
