Steps to reproduce:

Every time firefox 18 launches under Ubuntu 12.04 


Actual results:

There's a small see-through box in the upper left corner


Expected results:

It shouldn't be there

(It looks the same as this bug:

but that one has been marked closed, worksforme, and was for a much earlier version... did leave a comment on that bug, but not being sure that would ever be seen, thought perhaps I should file it as a new bug)

Reproduced in Firefox 18.0.2 on 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04.1 with XFCE.
