Build: 2001-06-05-03-0.9.1(MAC) 1. Launch browser 2. Open ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/macos/8.x/ppc/2001-06-05-03-0.9.1/updat e.html 3. Click Launch XPInstall button 4. Click OK button from Items to Install dialog RESULT: Downloading dialog begins to download xpi packages. Eventually, the progress meter freezes and update does not complete. User is able to use browser window. EXPECTED RESULT: Download completes, and installation starts. NOTE: Not reproducible from Mac OS 9.1 and Mac OS 9.04.
Adding keywords pp, regression, crash, nsbeta1. Nominating for beta. I was able to reproduce this freeze on two different machines running Mac OS 9.0. This breaks website support for Mac OS 9.0 users.

Changing Platform from All to Macintosh. It was always just on the Mac.

I take it back. I lied. Turns out that I was able to update on Mac OS 9.04 and Mac 9.1 once. But now I am reproducing the download freeze on these Mac OS' as well. So the bottom line is that this may break all Mac users :-(

Jimmy, Could you check this again? When I run update.html I get errors almost immediately. All of the packages fail with -228 (download error) Is this the same thing you're seeing?
Build: 2002-02-27-08-trunk(MAC) I was able to successfully update from 2/27/2002 to 2/28/2002. I did not freeze during download nor did I receive any error messages. However, I was not able to update TalkBack due to Bug 122297.
Well it works for Jimmy. And it works for Grace. And after testing again, it works for me. QA runs this test once a week, so if it comes back we'll know. marking worksforme
