we need an 'apply' button in the filter dialog. sometimes i have already got a few dozens emails containing some subject. then i decide to use a filter for those messages. this is no problem using the nice UI. but this filtering only works with incomming emails and not with those already in the local mailbox. i had a long time to find out that this can be done with the 'search message' dialog.
