After visiting Mapsonus (or Mapquest, I think), keyboard entry to the browser
stops working. I cannot use arrow keys or character keys in the location box or
any form field. I cannot paste anywhere. This appears to affect all sites
visited after the problem starts. Stopping and restarting Moz does not seem to
help. Stopping and starting a different version of Moz cures the problem. The
problem seems to happen on both 0.9 and 0.9.1-latest (2001060603).

To reproduce, go to www.mapsonus.com, select "Map", enter an address, select
"Draw map".
WFM Win98SE 2001060604
An additional step is required to create the problem. Sorry I missed it on the
first report. After reaching the map display, the problem starts if you
right-click in the map area. Doing that accomplishes nothing since no menu is
presented. However, thereafter no keyboard entry is accepted. Stopping and
restarting version 0.9.1 seems to be sufficient to cure the problem, without
starting a different version.

Can't reproduce, Win2K 2001062708 (0.9.2 branch). Reporter, can you still see
this? Keep in mind that there is a known bug about double right-clicking in a
window disabling all keyboard input...
win2k buildID: 2001062703
When I double right-click the browser page a few times, the keyboard input does
not work anymore and I have to restart it to continue my work.
This looks like a duplicate of bug 30841.

Still fails for me using latest overnight talkback build (which still identifies
itself as 2001060703, the same as my 0.9.1).

Note that failure only requires a single right click, but it must be within the
map display, not just anywhere in the window. In older versions, this brings up
a menu allowing me to save or view the image alone (among other choices). With
this bug, I get no menu.

reporter - I can't reproduce your scenario, ie. - with a single click on the map
area. When I do a single click , the menu does pop up and the keyboard inputs
still work. It is only with the double right click, if done rapidly, that the
keyboard goes dead.
Are you using a platform, other than win2000?
All of my experience with Mozilla is on W2K. This function used to work for me,
then stopped working and started failing as I reported sometime between 0.9 and
0.9.1. (I can't say precisely when because I don't access those map sites very
often.)

If it doesn't fail for others, then perhaps I just have something corrupted. Can
anyone point me to a cookbook for how to blow away old Mozilla stuff
successfully while still retaining useful old stuff like preferences or
newsgroup subscriptions? I've always installed the zip distributions so
uninstall does nothing for me.
This is a duplicate of bug 30841.
Problem only seen on double-right clicking on the browser window - keyboard keys
go dead.
