Now that cfx will use the APIs in Firefox instead of those in the repo I'd like to be sure that that is actually what it is doing. It seems to me that there isn't really any need for the lib directory to be present at all.

Right now Firefox builds generate a test package including basically all of the SDK files, tests and modules. That is then uploaded and tested against a built Firefox. I'd like to remove the modules from that package though, so it just contains cfx and the test files to guarantee that it is using the modules that are in Firefox.

Right now it fails without a lib directory present.

Crazy talk?

Dave this sounds like a subset of bug 968331, can we mark it as a dup?
