Overview: "+3 other downloads" is not displayed, instead "Show All Downloads" is displayed. The downloads panel opens showing two of the small downloads (since one of them was removed in step 9), with the last download entry being the Ubuntu 12.10.iso file.
Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
OS: Windows 7 x 64

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Launch Firefox
2) Perform 3 downloads of your choice (wait for the downloads to be completed).
3) Open the Downloads Panel
4) Navigate to http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/thank-you?release=latest&bits=32&distro=desktop&status=zeroc and accept saving the large download.
5) Open the panel and pause the Ubuntu download.
6) While the download from step 4 is in progress perform 3 more small downloads.
7) Open the panel again.
8) Open the panel again Click on +4 toher downloads, right click on the paused download and select resume.
9) From the downloads view - right click on any of the completed downloads and choose to remove it from the history.
10) Open the panel again.

Actual Results:
"Show All Downloads" is displayed.

Expected Results:
"+3 other downloads" is displayed.

the steps to reproduce look far complicated, I suspect they can be reduced quite a bit, there seems to be an issue with Remove From History and updating the summary...
Jonah, is it possible that in step 10 all of your downloads to be already completed?

"+X other downloads" is displayed only if one of the downloads is in progress or paused. By design, if all the downloads displayed in the downloads View (in the Library window) are completed - "Show All Downloads" is displayed instead of "+x other downloads".
Yeah that is a bit long. Thanks, in the future I'll reduce long test steps as much as I can before logging an issue.

Simona, you're right. But the nature of the test case makes it almost impossible to have ongoing downloads. For example in step 2, it says to wait until the downloads are completed. Then in step 6, it says to perform three small downloads. This means chances are that all the downloads will be completed by the time I reach step 7. Do you agree?

I'll mark this bug as invalid since Firefox is behaving by design. Thanks!
