84474 - junta-andalucia.es - The links in that URL don't work

Status: VERIFIED WORKSFORME

(Tech Evangelism Graveyard :: Spanish, defect, P4)

Description

[Yog-Sothoth]

1. Go to http://www.cec.junta-andalucia.es/Scripts/Novedades/index.idc
2. In that page, there are many links (each paragraf is a link).
3. I click in any link, and... don't work. The URL which Mozilla tries to go
isn't exists. That is, the target URL isn't the *real* target URL in other
browsers (I tried it in Netscape, Opera, Konqueror and Lynx).

Comment 1

[R.K.Aa.]

URLs of the form http:/foo/bar (relative urls with protocol part) are
disallowed per RFC 2396.

See bug 32966 for details.

This is an evangelism bug. That means it is intended to be used to contact the
site owner to get them to change their html in order to work properly in
Mozilla. Also long as the sites are different, or the problems reported are
different then even if this problem has been reported on another site, it does
mean it is a duplicate.

The bug you marked this as a duplicate of is 1) not an evangelism bug, 2) has
nothing to do with this site.

Please do not mark evangelism bugs as duplicates of non evangelism bugs.

Please do not mark evangelism bugs as duplicates of other evangelism bugs for
different sites.

Comment 5

Moving to new component "West Europe". European component is being removed.
See bug 95808 for details.

Comment 6

[Andrew Hagen]

The URI no longer exists.

Comment 7

[Diego Biurrun]

The new URL should work. Linux 0.9.7 is dog slow on the site but does work. I
am marking this WORKSFORME. I am sure there is some bug floating around for the
js slowness.

Comment 8

[z-aillon.c-obsolete2]

Verifying fixed on linux 2001122621 and NS621
