Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130215130331 Steps to reproduce: As HTML5 video increases in use, people will have more tabs running in the background that start playing video/audio immediately upon loading. With a lot of tabs open, it can be hard to tell which ones are playing the audio. Actual results: Audio started playing in a background tab and there's no indication on the tab as to which one has the audio. Expected results: The tab should have an indicator when it's playing audio/video. This is in the new Chrome beta: https://plus.google.com/100132233764003563318/posts/ifuevV626cX

Ugh. I keep accidentally using the first textbox... Sorry, meant to add a comment recommending pending official integration. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noise-control/
