Does it work with other browsers if you use the Auto detect proxy case ? Does it work in IE ? What happens you change the settings in Firefox to use the system settings ?

(In reply to Matthias Versen [:Matti] from comment #1) > Does it work with other browsers if you use the Auto detect proxy case ? > Does it work in IE ? > What happens you change the settings in Firefox to use the system settings ? Yes it does work on Other browsers like Chrome and IE. Even after changing to System settings i won't be able to browse internet. I can browse Internet only if i select Manual Proxy settings. Corporate Urls work if i select any of the following. 1. Auto detect 2. Use System Proxy settings.

What settings are you using in IE/windows ? Do you use a Proxy auto configuration file (pac) ? A workaround would be to enter the proxy in the manual config and add the corporate Domains in the no-proxy list but that is not useable if you have many corporate Domains.
No i am not using any pac file in IE. I have a lot of urls to add. One more point is that same Firefox version is working with "Use System Settings version option".
We need to now what settings are used in IE
I think it's using auto system settings but I will confirm again tomorrow.
As i said before IE is having auto detect system settings. I can send the image of the settings but i don't know how to send

can this be dupd?
Flags: needinfo?(daniel)
I don't think it is a duplicate. This issue seems unique in that this is "use system proxy settings" that doesn't seem to work. (I think) @Trinadh: I've reread this report several times but it is still not clear to me exactly what works or not. Are your setup using different proxy setups for reaching different networks? I'd like to understand your network setup so that we can try to repeat it and understand what goes wrong and doesn't work. In comment 6 you said you'd check your IE settings and confirm, can you help us out with that?
