RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 738952

People

(Reporter: adcurtin, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130215130331

Steps to reproduce:

open a pdf in the built in PDF viewer. Hit command + s to save it.

Actual results:

firefox saved the pdf viewer, and saved the webpage that displays the PDF as a .pdf file (which is definitely invalid). I got a file (name.pdf) and a folder (name.pdf files) like you would when saving a webpage. However the name.pdf is not a valid pdf and does not open with preview.

Expected results:

upon hitting command + s, I should be prompted to save the .pdf file itself, not the viewer.

I suggest either having the keyboard shortcut save the PDF itself, or disabling the keyboard shortcut altogether.
Component: Untriaged → PDF Viewer
To add more info, the '.pdf' saved with command + s is actually html, but it is saved with a .pdf extension.
