The current setting for the plural form for Sakha is 7, like Russian, https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Localization_and_Plurals#Plural_rule_.237_.283_forms.29. It seems that it probably wants to be '0', though, like Turkish? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sakha_language#Grammar makes me think so, as does CLDR.

I have no specific knowledge of Sakha, but according to Wikipedia, yes, it works just like Turkish on that issue and it needs to be "0".

Dwayne, are there settings that you need to tweak on the pootle side? I know there'd be on verbatim, not sure how 2.5 works.

I'm not sure to which extent pootle is helping with this or assisting with the follow-ups to the change. Dwayne, any tips?

For Verbatim and 2.5 they're the same in Admin->Languages.

For Firefox, we're not handling plurals in any way.

So
1) This means the change to plurals forms in the Sakha files on Pootle
2) Educate the translator re the plural strings.

I'll handle those and close the bug when that is done.

Commit d33668f in Translate Toolkit will add this for Pootle 2.5 in future.

Per bug 846802 comment 3, we're closing out the bugs for Sakha due to inactivity.

If there's renewed interest, feel free to reopen.
