I thought for 1.0.1 we only supported image attachments. Peter/Chris?

Correct.
Andrew, does this look like a bug to you? (perhaps an edge case that was not accounted for?)

I'm not sure what the question about image attachments was.

The reported bug sounds valid; the code currently assumes that its devicestorage target is always there. It will presumably fail to save the attachment in a way that causes no notification to be sent to the front-end, so the download will look like it is ongoing when in fact it failed and potentially broke some other internal stuff.

There are other filed bugs by leo about us not canceling downloads or warning the user that there is no SD card. Ideally all bugs would be fixed, probably at the same time.

There are potential string implications for any fix if we prompt the user.
