I'm not sure if this is the correct component, please advise - I'm reporting a problem that was highlighted on the Brazilian forums: https://support.mozilla.org/pt-BR/questions/952450 According to the user, since the latest update on Firefox: STEPS TO REPLICATE: 1. Print a text selection EXPECTED RESULTS: The text selection should be printed at the top of the page. ACTUAL RESULTS: The text selection is printed either on the bottom or middle of the page, with blank spaces in between. This happens on all websites when using Firefox. It does not happen when using IE or Chrome. Please let me know if there is any additional information needed and I can request the user. Thanks!! =)

Could the user try to print a selection into a MS Document Writer file (.xps) and attach the file to this bug? (with the website URL) In addition, did he try with a fresh profile? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

I'm not the author of the bug but I was about to report the same issue but found this one in the search. An example of such page is here: http://www.finlex.fi/fi/laki/ajantasa/1889/18890039001 When I try to print the 8 § from that page, I get one empty page, followed by second page with some empty space and then the selected text. If I select some other section which is a few pages down I get even more empty pages. This has been around from FF 19 at least. Windows 7, 64bit, tried with MS XPS writer and two actual printers and also Win 7 ENG and FI editions.
Thanks for the comment, it helped. Regression range: m-c good=2011-12-20 bad=2011-12-21 http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=2afd7ae68e8b&tochange=cd921d073b22 m-i http://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=feaccb6a4c35&tochange=c78f7c5e1736 My guess goes to bug 619273, maybe. But the regression range needs to be reduced.
