User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
Build ID: 20130307075451
Steps to reproduce:
Since Firefox 19.0 this problem has started to appear on many different websites.
Sometimes when I scroll or move my cursor over a block of text, some sections of text will become extremely pixelated. Only text is affected, not images.
Disabling hardware acceleration fixes this.
Duplicating this bug is a bit tricky since it seems to happen at random times at random websites. It happens very frequently though (several times an hour).
Actual results:
A block of text becomes pixelated until you manipulate it by either moving the cursor over it or highlighting it.
I want to stress that this is NOT a local hardware issue. Several people have started having this problem since Firefox 19.0, as this reddit thread proves: http://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/19cmcs/pixelated_text_after_mouseover_in_ff_19/
This happens in both Firefox 19 and 20. My current user agent is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0
I'm using a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series graphics card. My driver is version 8.970.100.300 dated 7/3/2012.
