(I'm attaching two files as testcase)

(I'm not sure this belongs to this component .. lots of tables and some
javascript around.)

1 - Put the HTML file and the image in the same directory
2 - Open the HTML file

In the second news article (about McVeigh and Oklahoma), the picture does not
show up. It is loaded correctly in Netscape-4.7 and in Lynx.

It's resized.  Dup of bug 74313.

with a linux build including the latest patch in 74313 the image loads OK
at http://www.standaard.be/
Verified dup.

(today's CVS version on GNU/Linux)

Still the same problem, the image does not show up on the website. Applying the
patch does not help.

I expect the website to change later this day, so you might need the attachments.
