If we add 'django_statsd' to INSTALLED_APPS it gives us a 'statsd_ping' management command we can call from the deploy script and will give us the ability to put vertical lines on the graphs where deploys happened.

We're capturing these with New Relic now via our fancy-pantsy james utility.
So, I'm going to close this out.
