User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130307023931 Steps to reproduce: Created a PDF from a Word doc using Bullzip PDF printer then displayed it using an iframe. See http://school.stpaulmp.org/newsletter.php Actual results: In FF 19.0.2 using built-in Viewer, some of the characters either don't display or display as special characters (!, ", #, $, etc). Same page displays correctly in IE, Safari, and Chrome. Also displays correctly in FF using "Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" for content type "Portable Document Format (PDF)". Expected results: Should have display correctly...

Everything looks ok for me (Nightly, Mac OS). Can you double check with Nightly? There were some bug with character displays fixed between Fx19 and Nightly, maybe they cover your case.
Tried with Nightly - Windows (Standard) Now I get a lot of little boxes instead of the blank and/or special characters. It's worse than before.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 I reproduced the issue on Firefox 19.0.2. In latest Nightly (20140114030236) all the characters are displayed. Marking as RWFM, please re-open if you can still view the issue.
