User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 SeaMonkey/2.16.2 Build ID: 20130310201055 Steps to reproduce: Images rendered by Seamonkey sometimes show ugly banding. See the example with a comparison of Seamonkey and IE: - left: Seamonkey 2.16.2 - right: IE10 - look at the left part of the woman's face I've seen the issue for a while now. I first attributed it to drivers or OS, but it didn't change at all after I upgraded from Win7/32bit to Win8/64bit.
Severity: normal → critical
Problem gone after setting gfx.color_management.mode to 0
In that case your monitor color profile profile seems to be wrong. IE10 doesn't do color correction as far as I could see after s short google search.
Severity: critical → normal
Component: General → GFX: Color Management
Product: SeaMonkey → Core
Version: SeaMonkey 2.16 Branch → unspecified
