Details
Composer related bugs/wishes:
1. Insert a numbered list. Select all entries in the list. Hit the
increase indent button. Complete list moves to the right as expected. Now hit
decrease indent button. Result is that numbered list is gone. Expected result
should be a numbered list that’s still intact however moved a bit further to
the left.
2. Insert a numbered list. Type something. Hit soft enter (shift+enter
buttons). Type something else. Hit enter. Type something. Hit enter (enter
button). Result as expected: two items in the numbered list with two lines for
the first item. Now the other way around. Start with a blank line. Type
something. Hit soft enter. Type something else. Hit enter. Type something.
Select the three lines. Hit the numbered list button. Result not as expected:
an numbered list with three items.
3. Is it possible to load/save composer page information in a MIME format
so HTML, pictures, etc are put in one single file? If this is possible it might
be easy to extend the composer support for supporting style sheets and frames
and allow the user to use these more complex HTML pager in e-mail messages.
4. I would like the composer to be extended by an editor for SVG and
MathML. I look very much forward to quickly draw some diagrams in an e-mail or
include some formula’s and expressions.
5. Insert a table (two by two will do). Put the cursor in the table. In
the menu select Table/Select Table. In the menu select Table/Table Properties.
In the dialog box now showing select the Cells tab. Now hit the Next button.
Mozilla hangs.
6. Insert a horiontal line. Double click the line. A horizontal line
properties dialog shows. This should allow you to change the thickness of the
line. Changing the thickness is not possible though.
7. Go to the tab called Show all tags. Double click any tag on that page.
An advanced property editor screen pops up. You’ll not succeed in changing any
values in this screen. The only action possible is to delete values!
8. Insert a table. Put the cursor in a certain cell. Right click and
select Table or Cell background color from the menu. Select background color
for table. Pick any color and hit OK. Nothing happens. Note that this
functionality works for setting background colors for individual cells.
I can’t find a way to pick a color for table borders. Or is this not part of
the HTML standard.

In the future, please file each of these as separate bugs. This will make it
easier for people to verify and fix (otherwise they may get lost in the shuffle).
Issue #5 is filed as bug #85254.
I don't understand issue #6, I can change the thickness (height). I do see a
problem where the line doesn't re-render with the new thickness. Is this the
problem you are seeing? If so, could you please file a separate bug on that
issue?
Issue #7 is covered in a different bug (#71743?)
Please file the remaining issues (like #1, #2, #3) in separate bugs so they can
be assigned to the appropriate people and get fixed soon! :-)

Reporter, I've resolved this bug as invalid. Please follow brade's advice and
report each bug/feature as a separate report. If it is a feature request then
please mark the severity as 'enhancement'.
Can you please read the bug writing guidelines:
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html
Don't think that your feedback is unappreciated, however the way bugzilla works
means that each bug report must contain one specific bug/suggestion so that it
can be marked fixed when it's fixed and each individual bug/suggestion can be
assigned to the appropriate person.
If you don't have the time to do this then you're welcome to email me and if
time I'll have a look to see which bugs are not duplicates and need to be filed
as separates. However if you'd like to assist in the Mozilla bug reporting
process a lot more then you could join the Bug Day just ask in #mozillazine on
irc.mozilla.org about this event.
