Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686; en-US; rv:0.9+) Gecko/20010605 BuildID: 2001060511 When I try to highlight text in Emacs running remotely, and then middle click the mouse in a local Mozilla compose window, the highlighted text is not copied. Also, "Paste" from the "Edit" menu doesn't work either. I'm running Mozilla under Ximian Gnome. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select "Tasks->Mail" 2. Click on "New Message" 3. Highlight some text with the mouse in a remotely running Emacs. 4. Click the middle mouse button in the mail compose window. Actual Results: Nothing. Expected Results: Highlighted text should be copied into the mail compose window.
This is a problem with the clipboard in general, not just mailnews. A temporary sort-of-fix for this was checked in on June 8. The permanent fix is bug 84973. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55312 ***
