Repro steps:
1. From the homescreen swipe to the right to access Everything.me
2. Select Sports then PGA Tour.
3. Once the page loads tap the Home button.
4. Observe the page that the user is taken to.
Expected:
The user is returned to the Sports section of Everything.me
Actual:
The user is returned to the homescreen.

Step 2 should be "Select Sports then NBA".

I confirm that this is an OOM that ultimately kills the homescreen and the app itself.

Can we simply remove this from e.me list of apps? Joey?
Marking it as NPOTB

Daniel, this can indeed be removed from FxOS results to solve the problem, although I would also invest time into understanding if there's something to be done on the gecko level.
Gur can take this from here

Hey. What are the conclusions about it? Can we simply remove the NBA from the list right now?

This is not a nba.com problem but a gecko problem, since the browser also crashes with nba.com / pinterest.com and other sites. I think it's already being delt with and I prefer not removing sites from an index based on the web, we can't be filtering content from users (which they can and will access themselves) and need to solve the lower level problem.

Lower level issues seems to be like the device does not have enough RAM. Can we check if this website works in the same device running Android?

Vivien, looks like there's an attempt to solve the OOM issue on gecko's front

Hi Vivien, in regards to your question the answer is yes. The nba.com mobile site works fine on Android.

I was able to produce this issue earlier with QRD 256MB device . But with AU_LINUX_GECKO_ICS_STRAWBERRY.01.01.00.019.071-1-g93aba58 , I don't see this issue both on 256MB configuration and 512MB configuration now.
I followed following steps:
1) I launched Contact with 500 contacts
2) I launched Email App.
3) I launched browser with 3 tabs and make sure they are fully loaded.
Then I followed above 4 steps . But I am unable to produce issue on both QRD 256MB and QRD 512MB device.
It seems to me that it is already fixed in gecko.
