User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 SeaMonkey/2.16.2 Build ID: 20130310201055 Steps to reproduce: I vew a mail that I received. The problem occurs with new mails as well as with mails received before the update. The Problem occurs only with some mails that are sent in plaintext + HTML when in the menu "view" the option "view message body as" is set to "original HTML" instead of "simple HTML". Actual results: Since update to version 2.16 mail bodies with german umlauts (special characters like äöüßÄÖÜ) are displayed as two strange characters. For example ä is displayed as ä, ü is displayed as ü, ß is displayed as ß. It seems to work correct for mails with attribute "http-equiv" coming first in the meta-tag and to work wrong with attribute "content" coming first in the meta tag. Best regards
