Not so sure. Loading the page using desktop Firefox in responsive design mode and a Firefox for Android user agent loads the page correctly.

It also works fine if you save the page from desktop and load it on fennec (e.g. people.mozilla.com/~tmp/enc.html) so it's almost certainly the case that they're somehow detecting mobile via a non-UA-string mechanism and sending us different content.

We do get http://images.treccani.it/enc/media/css/responsive.css, but notice

Not entirely sure what's going on with the bg color. Will have to take a look when I'm able to do some remote debugging.

Note that the layout I get is slightly different than the layout in the original screenshot.

Hmm, opening this in nightly gives a different experience. The bg color of the footer isn't bleeding through anymore, so perhaps that was just a bug that was recently fixed?

I'm inclinded to close as WFM.

Works in Beta too.
Now the only problem (far less important) is the bottom bar (with the text: "Crea un ebook con questa voce") that sometimes appears, sometimes not.

that toolbar behaves much the same in Android browser here. I'll resolve WFM.
