black background on animated graphics

There are 2 images on this screen -- one is a rollover and the other is
animated. In both cases, there is a black (flickery) background whenever the
mouse is placed on the image. This doesn't seem good. :-)
I can email the raw images if you'd like them -- this is repeatable by loading
them locally.
