Details
PR1 build on US Win95
For example:
- Open the Mail task
- Sort messages by Date by clicking "Date" at the top of the column
- Select a message with a single click
- Resort messages by Thread by clicking the icon at the top of the column
The message is still highlighted, BUT may no longer visible in the window.
In a very large mail folder, it is difficult to scroll around to find the
message that is selected. Netscape 4.x, always kept the selected message
visible in the window after any resort.
I usually keep my (large) inbox sorted by Date, so I won't miss new messages
that might get lost in some thread out of view. But sometimes, I want to
read messages in the context of the thread. So I did this switching
frequently in 4.x, but it is unusable in Mozilla.
Using win32 (2001-08-15-06 trunk)
Linux (2001-08-15-06 trunk)
Mac (2001-08-15-04 trunk)
I cannot re-produce this bug.
Mark it worksforme.
