Reproducible on Firefox 17.0.5 ESR (BuildID: 20130328110703).
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Firefox.
2. Load www.vimeo.com
3. Move the browser in a circle or resize it from top to bottom.
Expected results: The browser is responsive and it moves with no issue just like in other loaded pages.
Actual results: Firefox freezes for 1-2 seconds on each move. And one area from website is flickering.
Notes:
1. The delays are not that obvious on latest Aurora/Nightly but when resizing the browser vertically one area from the page is flickering. Using inspect element on that area reveals that its "canvas#top_particles" - see attachment.
2. This issue occurs on Firefox 4 so I don't think this is a regression.
